Continuum Appointed Entities

The Board has the authority to designate one or more entities to lead essential activities of the Continuum.  The appointed entity roles are:

  • The Continuum’s Collaborative Applicant, an eligible applicant that must submit the annual CoC Consolidated Application for funding and apply for a grant for Continuum of Care planning.
  • The Continuum’s Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Lead, which operates the Continuum’s HUD-required HMIS on its behalf.
  • The Continuum’s Support Entity, which coordinates, directs, and advocates for the work of the Continuum and the Board.

The Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services is currently designated to fulfill these roles.
